… Or is this a genre strictly for the ladies?
I can’t say I’ve come across many chaps attempting to write erotica.
Or perhaps there are loads of men writing erotic fiction, but writing under a female pen name. Now there’s something to think about.

You’re right. I did enjoy it. 🙂 You don’t often see such a well-researched, well-written article on the internet these days (or maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places). Nicely done.
It’s good to know that there are a lot more men writing erotica than I thought. And it’s good to know they’re focussed on turning out quality fiction, rather than just filling pages with sex scenes without a story to hold them together.
Not sure about the whole female pen name thing though. I can see why it’s done, but if you’re the kind of reader who judges an author by gender, then I’m not sure you’re not going to like my work anyway.

LOL – I wonder the same thing sometimes. I’m making an effort. Extremely successful in the online free publishing world (#2 at Literotica) I’m dying to see if any of that success can transfer to the Kindle World. There are a few of us out there, but not many.
Good luck with book 3.
